Founder Sean Cook launched Tea after witnessing his mother’s terrifying experience with online dating—not only being catfished but unknowingly engaging with men who had criminal records.

Determined to make an impact, he self-funded Tea, knowing it had the potential to disrupt an industry riddled with unsafe practices. But he wasn’t done yet. To take Tea to the next level, he needed the right leader to partner with.
One day while scrolling, Sean discovered a viral creator, Daniella, whose content resonated with millions of women-and saw an opportunity to bring that same energy to Tea. What began as a simple idea quickly turned into a social media movement.

Since then, with Daniella as the Head of Socials, Tea’s online presence has exploded, becoming the go-to destination for women who want to date safely.

With over 240,000 followers on Instagram and 190,000 on TikTok, Tea’s content reaches millions each month- fueling real conversations, empowering women to protect themselves, and building one of the most engaged women-led communities on the internet.
